Reviews
I went there for a visit to a member of my family and the hospital was really good and well-managed. I did not get in touch with the staff but the building looks really modern and there is anything that you will need during your visit or stay there.
This new building from 2008, makes the Ziekenhuis (the hospital) a modern and well organized place.
The departments signs are clear and it's easy to get around.
On September 4z 2023, I went for a phlebotomy and noticed that nurses collecting of blood from a vein don't wear gloves when they perform blood withdrawal. I consider this anti-sanitary and dangerous with risk of getting infected with nosocomial infections. Especially when phlebotomists first touch your skin with their finger to feel and pulpitate the vein.
Those who choose to violate the
Bloodborne Pathogens Standard are at risk of acquiring any of the 20 diseases known to be transmitted by blood exposure.
Also the tech is risking passing along
nosocomial infections to other patients more of over 20 bloodborne pathogen.
The same happens in France where phlebotomists don't wear gloves and this is a very bad and unhealthy practice.
Otherwise everyone is friendly, waiting wasn't long. Coffee and tea in a vending machine in the hospital cost 1 euro but could be free.
Very bad experience, we were helped by a rude and arrogant nurse who made us feel like idiots. I understand the immense pressure all medical staff are under but being that cold and hostile to my husband when he is pain is shocking
Cardiologie was not very friendly to me as a larger person. Everyone else was wonderful
The hospital looks good. It has a very nice piano you can play in the main hall aswell.
Great hospital. Friendly personnel and doctors.
New, modern hospital with a very clear layout.
